People have the freedom to work hard, and improve their lives, by earning money. People have the right to invent things, using their minds, to improve their lives, by getting a nicer home, buying food for their families, and earning it. They aren't controlled by government who would give them a lesser standard of living. They can own more than just one cow, like everybody else. People have the freedom to trade with other countries, and people. They have the power to decide for themselves how best to spend monies they have worked for. Capitalism creates competition with other people to make one think harder, to be able to succeed, to use their own minds for what they want. Peoples minds grow, when there is an incentive to gain more than what they already have. Not sit back, and let everybody else take care of them. Capitalism causes people to work.

Capitalism and the free enterprise system is what helps build a strong economy within a nation. However, the abuse or capitalism in a few hands of wealthy, powerful elitists can destroy a country's economy in a matter of just a few generations. We're on the brink of destruction right now, and shortly after G.W.Bush leaves office, this country will experience the worst economic depression in its history (making 1929 look like a church picnic). -RKO-

Consumers can get better products and have the choice of many different products because of competition between firms. Capitalism also is a very efficient economics system because it brings in tremendous amounts of money, which can be used towards services. Capitalism doesn't ensure equity like Communist theory, but it certainly benefits the average American citizen.

War, poverty, exploitation and oppression are products of the capitalist system, a system in which a minority ruling class profits from the labor of the majority. This is profitable if you are the right person who has enough money to expoit the elderly, the poor, the new Americans, the mentally retarded.

The alternative is socialism, a society based on workers collectively owning and controlling the wealth their labor creates. Now that is BAD and people should avoid thinking about it because it might make sense to listen to dictators like Hugo chavez and bad evil doers like Fidel Castro.

Capitalism is great. Capitalism is good. Capitalism is in Mexico. Mexico is a good example of Capitalism. They do not have those Communistically inspired social programs. You can use your yard as a garbage dump and sewer if you want to in Mexico. You can also immigrate to the evil USA, if you live in Mexico, and earn American dollars rather than Mexican Peso's. There are none of those environmental controls in Mexico.

Because in a capitalistic society, people put more of their energies into making their lives better than putting their energies into fighting about religious differences or being snobs like some of the Europeans are doing.
