Ask your mom if you can rent the game and if she can watch you to see how bad it is.

(This works. I have used it many times when I was younger)

Just say to your mom, that you know the difference between right and wrong. And certain things will happen in life. Tell her that the game is also informational (call of duty 3) because it tells you about the war. Do you really think that the soldiers would just say, "stop! fighting is not the way to victory". People get shot, people die. There is nothing you can do to change it. Just tell her, that no matter if you play violent video games or not, it will not stop the violence that is going on in the world.

Well, Age is going to be an important factor in this.

If you're under say 13 or 14, you're likely going to just have to deal with it.

If you're I don't know, let's say 14 or 15 to 17, you can probably convince her to buy it if you pay for it.

If you're 18 or older then you probably wouldn't be asking this question.

Also, It would be a good idea to raise the point that this game is based on WWII and while it is violent, it isn't immoral, like grand theft auto or other such games.

Let her know that in Call of Duty you are a soldier, not a Grand Theft Auto Mobster killing innocent people. Soldiers back in the day were very young and they were pitted in the midst of battle against an enemy with the reality that they may die. You could explain that you are so lucky to not have to be in the force yourself but you are curious what a simulation of how they feel would be like.

I have the same problem with my mother..And i still have it..I solved that by taking that kind of games with my father and playing them when she wasn't home..Try it and so your best character when your mother is near you..If you have brothers be kind with them and do some of theis favors that you didn;t before..In my case it worked..

I think you have a very responsible mom who is trying to take good care of you. Love her and respect her, she is the only one you have.
