Psychic fans only: why did you get a reading?

what criteria did you use to pick one reader over another? What things do you look for in a psychic and what things do you avoid?

It's a 'feeling' thing -
You either 'feel' that a reader is a true sensitive, or not . . .

I get Readings all the time.
Why? It gives me a glimpse of how to keep my life on the right path and it helps me calm down over things out of my control. Plus it is a great way to grow spiritually and meet and talk to your Spirit Guides.
Everyone should do it at least once.

To find a real Psychic or Medium, do your research. Money and price is not an indicator of a good one. I have been lucky as I have used many and all were very good, 85% or more accurate.
The best psychic or medium is the ones in person. They make a better connection and see more (aura, guides, angels and such).

Criteria:

Word of Mouth, must have many good references
Connection, talk on phone or email first to see if they connect with you. Sometimes they won't.
Are they New Or been Around Awhile (15 ys or more)
If they tell you they are 95% to 100% accurate, walk away
(only God is 100%)
Make sure they believe in God (or greater being, creator)
If they want Money to get rid of evil or bad spirits, walk away
Know the Price and Agree upfront, not later.
Never pay more that Agreed upon during that sitting
Ask Questions (make sure you are permitted to get answers)
If you use one you dont like, dont use again and dont refer them.
No Phychic has all answers and they should not pretend to.
(dont push for specifics to all questions)
Check them out as well as you can, first.
Pay cash or check only (no cc or debit)

A medium can connect you to passed loved ones an psychic can not. Sometimes a Medium can give you all information you need also just like a psychic.
I like having a psychic/medium as I learn the most.

I have been to two that I remember. When I went to see the first one a strong wind picked up and broke a window which was out to be cleaned or repaired.She mainly spoke about my ex-wife and her feelings and to forgive her.The second was also about seeking knowledge about another relationship after my second divorce.She mentioned about a blond woman and I jokingly asked for her phone number which made her laugh. She was referred to me by a woman who said she had solved crimes for the government. She told me to take some training course with Devri. It has been many years since but I don't remember ever meeting this blond woman yet. I wonder if it was just Valerie Plane driving a blue Suburban? Maybe she has a sister? Do Psychics ever see other psychics too? Maybe just to tell them they're frauds? I would think about seeing a Psychic that has solved crimes for the government. I'm skeptical about those who charge for services unless it's because of traveling expenses to get there from far away such as another state.There are also those who perform for large audiences and are well documented.Also look into remote viewers who seem to be the new age psychics. I remember going through some remote viewing training when I was around the age of 11 but there isn't any proof of this to my knowledge. China is supposedly now doing this though especially to help support it's own new world agendas.Maybe this won't be a bad thing after all but, that's left to be seen.

Good question. I use to back in the late 90's, early 00's. I got the reading because I wanted to know future events and how to adapt to these events. The psychics were 85% to 90% accurate. the worst was 10% accurate.
Funnest one told me point blank to I was fat and needed to lose weight, stop drinking and smoking.
Avoid ones you run into in parks and on streets.
Go to established psychics and one that are recommended by people you know.

NO, BS!! The psychic lady I was going to in the late 1999 predicted the war on Terror and the USA was going to be in Afghanistan and Iraq again. She said it was going to be a single event that was going to cause all of it, but didn't exactly know when, how or what!

If your on a website that gives stars and different comments by customers who have experienced a reading by them before, i just pick out the ones with the most stars and read their comments. If your over the phone and they have a voice profile, where they tell you a little about themselves i just listen and use my instincts, to pick one.
