because most of them are too busy to actually sit down and learn the brand new software that made his software from last week obsolete.

Sorry to burst the little bubble world you live in but my kids (age 19 & 23) still come to me for computer help.
Some people are just reluctant to accept new technologies. Some people are just happy doing things the way they've been doing them and don't want to change. I'll bet that those people can add & subtract numbers in their heads and don't rely on calculators or computers.
My in-laws (60s & 70s) use computers and are members of the 17th Century Society. They do blacksmithing, make their own yarn on a spinning wheel, grow their own veggies, make pottery and cook Thanksgiving dinner in a fireplace and brick oven
If all technologies suddenly dissappeared, I'd go live with them.
Why are so many kids horrible at spelling and grammar when there are spell checkers built into everything?

I'm a dad, and I'm pretty good with a computer. My two daughters kept telling me to get with the times. Well, now they ask me what to do if such and such happens. because I made it my business to figure out as much as I can. I have a long way to go , but, for a dad, I'm hangin' in there!! LOL !!
