how do u remove the smell of burnt popcorn?

from a microwave...its been 4 days now and no matter what i use to clean the microwave the oder is still there..its not as bad as it was but its still there thanks

Fill it with newspaper that's been wadded up. Close the door and leave it as many days as it takes. If there is just a bit of odor, put an open box of baking soda in it whenever you aren't using it. It absorbs odors very well. Good Luck and God Bless

10% bleach solution sprayed on the inside of the microwave, wait a couple of minutes, then wipe it out. That takes care of the odors embedded in the surfaces. Then for the odors still in the air, "Oust" works well. I spray it into the room around the microwave, and also spray some right into the microwave & close the door so it stays in there!

Open a window, or turn on a fan the get the air filtering through the house....and maybe it will go away. Also put the bag of burned popcorn in your garbage can outside. Also spray some febreez.

It sounds like the filters possibly have the smell in it. Try taking them out and rinsing them/changing them.

Also use clorox clean up in it. Rinse throughly and let air dry.. then leave the door open so it gets so air for a while and the smell sound eventually dissipate.

Gosh...this may be a protracted shot, however the 1st element that popped to recommendations grew to become into to make up a thick mix of baking soda and water, then microwave it for slightly. careful to observe it, as burned baking soda can in straight forward terms serve to worsen the venture... ...or microwave a CD. it will disguise up the scent with burned plastic as a replace... :)

Wipe it down with vanilla extract. close the door, let it dry, then rinse with water.
