Here are a few tips hope they help. 1,Baby food you have cooked needs to be frozen within 24 hours of cooking, 2,Food that is thawed should never be refrozen, 3,allow freshly cooked pureed food to cool to room temp before freezing, 4,Freeze in covered ice cube trays and then transfere to freezer bags with the date you cooked them and what food it is, 5,store for only 6 weeks then throw away, 6, When reheating use either a pan or microwave make sure its piping hot and allow to cool stir well to rid of any hot spots, 7, use up home cooked food that is stored in a fridge within 24 hours. this info came from annabel karmels feeding your baby and toddler book look it up in your local library its full of good info and great recipes from weaning to family meals.

I only used the trays to freeze- not to store. I would cover it with plastic wrap- and then move the cubes to a freezer bag labeled with the date and type of food

I cover my ice cube trays with saran wrap or wax paper when they are freezing, and then after they are frozen I take the cubes out and put them in freezer bags that are labeled with the food and the date. i have 6 ice cube trays, I have found i don;t need any extra. To thaw I simply take out the cubes I need and warm them in the microwave, making sure to stir thoroughly to break up any hot spots that may have formed.

i think of after rice cereal, you initiate greens. At this age you ought to use a blender, using fact the ingredients must be pureed and have no chunks in them till they are older (8-10 months old). Steam the greens, mixture and freeze, upload water to skinny, if mandatory. comparable with culmination, like apples, bananas, pears, etc. whilst it's time to introduce food, mixture despite the fact which you consume and feed to infant or freeze for later use.
