How long does the Chicago River stay green at St. Patrick's Day?

I know they dye the Chicago River at 10:45 AM but will the river still be Green if I get Chicago at noon?

Dude, the river remains a radioactive colored green for a couple days. Seriously, you could drop by at noon on Monday, and it will still be green.

Just make sure you go to the area between Michigan and Columbus - that's where the highest concentration of dye will be.
