That's a good pick up for them as they need wide receivers. If they can somehow manage to get Randy Moss then that offense would be really explosive. But they are improving themselves big time. They are making a run for the super bowl next year that's for sure.

nice sign, he will definitely give Brady the deep threat that he has never had, and at the same time, stretch the field for Welker underneath
Looks like this is a 1 year deal- per the terms of the contract:
For the Patriots to retain Stallworth for the 2008 season, they must pay him an option bonus of $6 million by Feb. 25, 2008. There is a subsequent roster bonus of $2 million due on March 1, a second roster bonus of $1.6 million based on playing time, a base salary of $1 million and a $400,000 workout bonus. That totals an exorbitant $11 million for 2008, or a two-year total of $14.6 million

lol. You pats fans are funny. Stallworth a pretty good Wr, but the guy is inury prone, and is not always the most motivated player. You payed a lot for him. Miami was thinking about getting him, but they weren't about to throw the mony that the Pats did for him. If the pats want to throw a lot of money to this WR by all means go ahead. Oh yeah, thanks for the two draft picks, Miami now has (pending) 9 draft picks to really boost this team. I really like Wes Welker since he was fairly reliable returning and in the slot, and he was a tough, grittty WR. But Miam was not about to pay too much for him and the benefit of two draft picks was too intriging as well. As much as I liked Welker, the guys is a no.3 Wr who played mostly in the slot. Miami got him off the waiver wire, and now they get two draft picks for this guy from the Pats. How cool is that. You pats fans are funny, lol. Thank you again for my amusement.

i think the chargers are still the team to beat, but the pats have definitely gotten themselves past the colts in my mind and have a good chance to return to another super bowl...their only fear has to be that stallworth is a bust or gets in drug trouble with the nfl, if the supposed rumors are true

there has been lots of communicate approximately getting Moss, however the priority is that the Raiders want a typical rounder which the Pats wont supply up. i think of there's a notably solid danger Stallworth will come. they are able to apply somebody along with his expertise.

Yeah..the Patriots are on the rise again...aye aye aye...I'd like to see them pick up some DBs in the draft and maybe a running back also..how about that Chris Henry guy that stunned everyone in the 40yard dash?...then I'd have to say without a doubt that they are up there with Indy and San Diego for next season...

Sadly, I must agree. The Chargers and Colts are still right there with them though. I still like the Titans 2 years from now.

Eagles fan here. Lucky you. Stallworth was great, and it gave McNabb the speedster he needed. I don't know who they can get to replace him. Pats are gonna be awesome.
