How much does a video game tester make?

If you can also tell me how to become one, and if it is hard or if it requires working your way up to be one?

8-9 bucks andhour.. its hard work and stressfull you work under a deadline and need to write the bugs you find also need to be able to recreate them..

Just because its called game tester does not mean its fun.. Go to the game maker sites and look under current openings or careers, if they have positions open you can apply. Interview and hopefully get hired.

The job is really meant as a way in the door...
