If you don't know what "breeds" is, it's kind of like the type of an animal. Like a flat coated retriever is a BREED of dog. Get it... got it... good. My favorite breeds of horses are thoroughbreds, arabians, shetland ponies, chincoteague ponies, and mustangs!

Arabians for their beautiful faces and curvy bodies, Clydesdales for their huge muscley bodies and shaggy feet,
POA's for their size and ability to carry adult or child, Palomino for their beautiful color (ok, it's a color, not a breed) burros for their fuzziness, and all of them for their smell! Horses smell better than people, IMHO. I love the smell of a sweaty horse, and I don't even mind the smell of horse manure.

The older I get the more I like a horse with a mind,not so much the breed. After that? Quarterhorses,Friesans(absolutely gorgeous),kinda' like the way Welsh and Highland ponies look too.

Definitely the Morab (Morgan/Arabian)! Very versatile; mine loved to jump, was a great trail and show horse, had beautiful manners, and really smart.

I love arabians for their grace and beauty. I also like Colorado Ranch horses because of their patterned rump. It looks like someone took a solid colored horse and sprinkled its rump with white.

i personally like arabians, they are so full of life and they are always happy. they are also a gourgeous horse!
my dream horse is actually a pure white arabian... sigh!

black stallion is not a breed- it is a color and gender....anyways,
I prefer Gypsy Drums (own one) and Hanoverians (can't afford one, but would love it).
