I have a trunkful. Many are of previous generations of relatives who have long past away.

Have them restore and then scrap book them, put them on CD, or frame them. Research the history behind them.

i have sold some of them to curio shoppe who have people who collect old time pictures

also i go to family reunions and try to get the people to put some of them on the website they have of the Yoas and Weber family in the Monroe, Mi area...

but to someone this is pictures of a long lost relative...
O // I gave a picture to guy I worked with and he said it was his mother ..and then later i found out we were cousins..so you never know..your pictures could be connected to a family of horse thieves or a family that is well to do..or home boys like my cousin...lol

My suggestion is to keep the ones that are really important to you and put them in photo albums. Give the rest to other members of your family who might want them.

What a treasure.
You should keep them, wonder how their lives were, write about them, investigate a bit about them.. well.. I would.
