Mine cost 120 quid for a 20k service on a Corsa recently. Luckily they found nothing wrong! Said the tyres were near but got them done cheaper at local kwik place

Buy a car repair manual for your car and do it yourself. The money you save you can have a nice tool set for yourself or a couple of more pints at the pub.
