I used to just find him irritating, BUT I have come to like him. He can be very funny and is clearly a smart cookie. (I wonder what he'd say if he knew he was being described as a 'cookie' - nothing polite I would imagine!) He has a great rapport with Hammond and May on Top Gear which is a big part of what makes the show great. I still want to slap him occasionally though.

mr freddie: I hate to have to be the one to point out the obvious, but 'British' is not a race.

...unless of course, that was a pun on Top Gear activities. In which case, it was a good one!

i would not bypass so a great way as to declare he's a genius, yet he's no longer nerve-racking. he's have been given a great experience of humour and gets paid funds for screwing around with automobiles and using quickly on a racetrack (abandoned airstrip). He'd be a solid guy to come upon in a pub on a sunday afternoon. i might purchase him a pint and chat to him for slightly.

He is overbearing, self opinionated and a bully but I love him in top gear, his relationship with Hammond and James May is second to none and extremely funny

I LOVE him, I LOVE top gear, it's fantastic. Jezza is a man who speaks his mind and doesn't give a monkeys uncle about what anyone thinks, a real man with charisma and he is so sexy, yes that's right people, I would have voluntary intercourse with him, and if I am ever famous, it'll be for doing just that, straight to the news of the world.

I like him because he irritates me. He is what we would all secretly like to be, immature for a living and able to say anything and get away with it. If he wasn't on TG it would become a weekly homage to the blasted Prius.

He can be both funny and irritating, he does seem to think he knows it all, well he probably does.

the thing with clarkson is that he is his own biggest fan, sometimes he is spot on and funny with his comments other times he seems to even embarrass his co-hosts.
