I am currently living overseas and have been eating what is called a King Orange since I have been here. I love the taste of the orange so much that I want to take some of the seeds back with me to the U.S. So I have been saving the seeds in hopes of planting them when I return but I dont know how long the seeds will be good for once they are outside of the orange, dried out and in a dry place. Can anyone answer the question of how long these seeds will last before I have to put them in the ground?

I can't tell you an exact time span but they will be ok when you come home if you keep them good and dry. If they get wet, they could soften and start sprouting. A good tip is that when you plant them, squeeze some orange juice around them on the dirt. Normally, a seed falls to the ground still in it's fruit which decays and changes the composition of the soil and also feritlizes it. That makes a perfect soil for that particular seed. Good Luck with that and God Bless you
