~I accidently chose best answer while reading answers~
Please give us your thoughts on having just the cell phone and dropping our landline.We are a senior couple in Houston,Tx..Have 2 time shares in Fl. & Ark. & travel some in the state. We are also home a lot.
We really want to do this but need your input here.

Well in my home we don't have a landline phone. We all have cell phones and it's worked out great for us. You don't have to wait for anyone to finish using the phone before you can talk and most cell phone companies have free long distance. You can also get a family plan for the two of you which will cut down on costs.

It's becoming far more prevalent in todays society to have just a cell. If you can get a plan that suits your lifestyle...then go for it !!
