The Samsung X830 is a superb compact phone following the standard Samsung design.

As far as the internet is concerned, the X830 has GPRS WAP standard, therefore is only able to view WAP pages. You can view its specifications here http://www.samsung.com/uk/products/mobilephones/mobilephones/sgh_x830ciaora.asp?page=Specifications

If you are looking for a 3G Samsung phone to access a more standard version of the internet (such as eBay) then I would suggest the Samsung Z400. Again, you can view its specifications here: http://www.samsung.com/uk/products/mobilephones/mobilephonesforireland/sgh_z400zkatmu.asp?page=Specifications

The only drawback to Samsung phones is the crap battery life, expect to charge your phone every other night (every night with heavy use).

Hope this helps.
