It really depends. If you confess it is usually honorable or general. If you get caught it is generally dishonorable. It really stinks that a homosexual can not openly serve.

they generally wont discharge you unless you get caught doing something. it is wrong for them to discharge people for that anyway they should let people openly serve their country. good luck to you. but if you do get discharged it is usually general under honorable conditions.
