Hi, I am 15 and pretty much in your exact situation. For years I was dreaming of acting, even if it was in a small role. I did a ton of research acting tips, classes, headshots, etc. So far I've been on one audition, and I've already spent a good deal of money on headshots. Unfortunately, you're gonna have to spend some money before you even get one role. Just make sure that whenever you are interested in getting classes or headshots to ask others for recommendations. That way, you can find out which classes or photographers are really worth their money.

By the way, one tip for the acting is really being yourself. When you go in to audition, the casting directors are gonna want to see your personality shine. Even if you do the script completely wrong, if you are new and interesting, chances are you'll get a callback.

As a last note, having an agent can be a big plus. Try to get one if you don't have on already.

Keep up the hard work!

hi, im 11 years old, too and i know what you're going through. I've only been to an audition once, and i was small back then, and i didnt know what i was doing. some lady at the mall gave me a card and talked to me about it. The same thing happened again, but i didnt go. The most improtant thing you should know is: if they ask for money, dont do it. ive been to one and they wanted $200. no matter how much i wanted to become an actor,i turned them down. Real auditions DO NOT ask for money. If they ask for money, it's a scam. Real auditions do not ask for money. I hope i helped.

Be careful about paying for classes and photo shoots, there are a lot of scams out there. The best advice that I could offer would be to consult with a your school drama teacher.

I would suggest to move to LA and to get an Agent.
