dream interpertation?

I hope someone who knows about this can answer. I had a dream last night that I woke up in sweats. I was at a stop light in front of a rail road crossing. I was with 3 old friends in the car however one of these people I know longer have a friendship with. While at the stop a gaint tidel wave headed straight for us. I saw that gaint wave and we all paniced in the car and then all of the sudden that wave went right over us slamming in the cars behind us but we weren't even touched. We then exclerated and went to eat at a restaurant, but my children were with me at this point. If anyone out there understands anything about dreams please explain this to me. Thanks

The tidal wave signifies something in your life which is overwhelming you. The fact that you were untouched, and with your friends tells me that you hold friendship in high value and they give you a certain sense of security in your life.

Coming forward in your dream to the restaurant, your friends (security from those in your past) were still with you, and your children were there (present time, giving you a feeling of accomplishment and happiness). It is a merging of past and present, both of which you need to overcome the tidal wave now present in your life.
