I remember there was an article in the papers a few years ago about a water-skier who had his toes bitten ny a pike and it actually dragged him under, a bit sore i imagine but a good story to tell nonetheless.

Yeah, the freshwater barracuda.
You'd assume you'd hear of more attacks.
Even Barracuda though are pretty friendly. There was a case of one taking a chunk out of a windsurfer for hitting him with the keel.
Never heard of any Pike attacks, and I do know of some pretty big muscular Pikes.

there must be. for some reason i'm worried about being bitten by pike when i go swimming. it must be based on something right
