I lost my Toyota Tacomas Oil cap, what can I do until I get a new one.?

I live in a place where you cant just go and buy a new cap. By the way, will any oil cap fit my 2001 Toyota Tacoma or do I have to by a specific one?

You can buy/order an oil filler cap from a Toyota dealer's parts department. You can also look for a used one at a junkyard. You can also look for one online (including ebay).

The oil filler cap is used on many other Toyota vehicles. You can't just buy any oil cap.

Use a rag. Just stuff it in the hole snugly.
