Not all girls from the south have two names. In fact, i live in Kentucky and i don't know a single person with a name like that. Maybe the rednecks who live in the mountains have names like that but no one else does.

you are really outdated i was born and raised in mississippi and my name is robyn darlene no one in my family has names like that.not my kids or my mom or grandparents.it is just another example of outdated views of people from the south.we are not all ignorant inbred hillbillies who think slavery was ever right or sleep with our cousins.get a life!

I asked my friend Billy Ray about that... He said everybody in the South has two names, lessen their parents was Yankees and they moved down there later!

It's so you can tell your daughters apart..... My oldest Betty Sue, the middle one Betty Jean and the baby Betty Jo........ we just call em big Betty, Betty and baby Betty to avoid confusion...I hope this helped
