In the past Racism was with Black people, demeaning them & tagging them with the N word. Now they're doing the same with Muslims! Last night I flipped 6 TV channels all of them were insulting Islam, & tagging us as "terrorists" or "radicals"!! I don't have a problem if they were just insulting the Jihadists, insurgents, car bombers, who for those who don't know are killing more muslims than they kill others!! so in fact we despise them much more than anyone else, but the thing is the Americans are hating all the muslims who for millions of years have lived not just peacefully with other people but Islam is the only religion in the world that acknowledges all the other religions. We have more stories in the Quran regarding Jesus, Moses, David, & other prophets (peace be upon them) more than Mohammad! my question is that why people don't learn from their past mistakes with the African-American people & they're repeating the same thing with muslims regardless of what kind of humans they r

Maybe if Americans saw more muslims speak out, speak out VERY loud against the jihadists, insurgents, car bombers, homicide bombers, etc, then views might change. But as long as they sit quietly, how are we to know what is in their hearts??

We should not try to compare 'our past slavery issue' with the current status of the U.S. while at war. This is difficult for people to understand...albeit fear takes aim at the Muslim communities.
Lets be realistic though. You must admit that Muslims have been migrating to the U.S. for many years before all of this happened. I really don't think the people 'hate' at much as 'cringe' at the fact that as long as Muslims in this nation keep silent about their 'mother land' and what their people are doing abroad, that citizens of this country are going to simulate a hateful temperment, when they are not certain what these people will do. If they remain silent, if they cannot or will not voice that they want to become true 'Americans' by denouncing their flag, then people will be skeptical, afraid and extend a hand of conviction rather than a hand of brotherhood.
So, the Muslim people are not our past slaves and America owes them nothing, if you want to get down to it. If you recall, the majority of people, even in here, want the seperation of church and state...so their religion has no affect on this government; nor should it. Our nation was not formed by the Muslim belief, but the Judo-Christian beliefs. It is fine to respect each religion, but it would not be fair to ask government to support this.
Politically correct is for 'political people'...and the citizens of the U.S., the majority, has already had enough. It is the right of each person to accept or reject anyone they so choose and it is not acceptable that government forces us to take their stance of political correctness when it comes to religion.

As you will discover from the figures above, different factors of government spending seem to be extra out of control than protection spending. keep in mind this: the money we invested to rigidity the Soviets to concede the chilly conflict or face financial ruin grew to become into the wonderful investment we ever made.

to say this, but the US is not at fault for the ism in the world. It's the ist from Al Queda, Hezbollah, Hamas, etc... that are the problem. The Quran also tells muslims to kill the infidel too, and when muslims follow that, we get the wars we are currently fighting.

The Muslims have a very bad public image due to the lack of outcry and denouncing of the violence caused by those of the Muslim religion. We have seen mass protests over cartoons and simple statements that have been misconstrued. We see the silence as acceptance.

The current prejudice that you see and feel towards muslims is based primarily on fear. It is the fear of the unkown and what is not understood. Unfortunately, a few radicals that do not even deserve to be termed muslim, are creating a fear of all muslims. In the case of african-americans, the same sort of prejudice was the result of enslavement and the subsequent demeaning of an entire group of people. If we learned from our mistakes, we wouldn't keep repeating them.

Hate can't be legislated. If Muslims are hated, you have to ask what they are doing to cause this public opinion! Also, you need to look at their news broadcasts and listen to how they typecast Americans and insult us and our religions. An argument takes more than one person. A fight takes more than one person. Each one has to do something to provoke the other. So, before taking sides, please look at both sides to the issues.
