We are a middle aged couple and my wife is very sexual, she has her needs. We agree that she dress sexy and pick up young men that she will never see again. So far, it is working and she is happy that I am letting her get her sex on the side. What's funny is our love has grown stronger and my wife is not frustrated anymore. She actually loves me more now and I love her no less for gettining her sex.
Do other couples in our situation do this?

1. You said your wife is 61 and she flirts with other men. Did she have her menopause ? Or is or steroids ?
2. At your age, what potency are you expecting and what is your wife expecting. Are there young men looking for 61 year old women in your home town looking for sex on the side ?

I learned something just recently. If you can show your trust, your relationships will always grow. She probably holds you in VERY high reguard because you have taken the ultimate sacrifice. Wrong is a question that will differ, Some of the religous people are going to say it's morally wrong, others who are activists of marriage will say it's wrong, personally i say that it is right. If it's healthy for you guys, and you keep the rules intact it is nothing but the best. Most people need 3 things in a relationship, good sex, mutual trust, and material gain. If one falters the other two start to decline. I take it you are a provider, and you two are compatible, so seeking sex elsewhere is still healthy. Most people do not recognize these needs, and Cheat. Because some stranger provided one of those 3 things that their significant other was lacking. be very attentive, and do not let yourself become jealous or the mutual trust will begin to falter and you will only have 1 of those things, thus ending the relationship.

Of course, your wife is going to enjoy it. because you are letting her. and she has no need to feel guilty.
As you are starting to feel, because, now you are having second thoughts about it.
But it also makes you wife seem like a whore. It must be starting to bother you, or you wouldn't ask if its ok, or if its wrong. If you are a religious couple, then you are allowing her to commit adultery, as you yourself are. By letting her do what she is.
Has your wife and you forgot?
Love is for better or worse. Love is staying true to those you care about ,regardless. No matter what you may be, or have. If your wife loved you, she would not do what she is doing.
Why don't you just;let her bring them home. If she hasn't started already. Maybe by seeing your wife have sex with another, may bring you back to your senses. they have medicine which can improve you sex life you know.
And if you aren't careful, she'll start to bring home younger boys, because they are ripe for the picking. i'm talking tn-agers. And if its starting to bother you now, wait till you start seeing tn-agers in your home screwing your wife. then you will start hurting.
And if she gets pregnant by one. then you will be stuck caring for a child that is not yours.

I totally understand. I have the same problem, and would be happy to give my wife the same freedom. She, however, has no interest in sex, so my impotence is probably a blessing in disguise.

We see all kinds in our practice and your situation, while unique, is by no means unheard of. Couples do unusual things and have unusual practices to preserve their marriage. While morally you may get hit for this be others who respond, my thinking is that few, very few, have ever faced this type of situation and speak out of some self righteous indignation w/o understanding the depths that are touched here.
While I could never agree to this in my marriage, I also must respect that where you stand is different from where I do, and this also means I can't spend my life aggressively chasing , reviling, rebuking and reprimanding those who don't adhere to my views.
Finally, as I return to reread this, I'm shocked, absolutely shocked at the level of expressed condemnation, fire and brimstone. The Christian right often makes it hard to come to Christ, requesting forgiveness, healing, understanding and compassion when HE is portrayed as only a a GOD of judgment, sin, death and harshness. Grace is difficult to find, and most often among my own family, and sometimes one has to go elsewhere to receive it.

NO! It is not wrong. My wife (64) is still very hot & has several FWB's as I at 74 have been impotent for 10 years. It works for us!

i would think that you like it because it is a relief for you to not be obligated or feel guilty for not meeting her needs. good for you. bad for her. shes out there sharing intimate parts of herself with other men. sex isnt the same in a womans mind as in a mans. men see it as a black and white primal urge, and have no problem forgetting about the girl the next day. women on the other hand see it as a validation of their beauty, both inside and out. it an emotional experience, and goes way beyond the physical aspect. i fear for you that she will find what she is looking for out there. think of it this way. youve had a job as a corporate executive for 15 years. your employer starts to interview other prospects for your job on a constant basis. how secure in your job would you feel? wouldnt you feel the doom that at some point someone is going to come in and dazzle more than you do? wouldnt you feel your job is being threatened? your marriage is. there are lots of things you could do to satisfy her without your pen@@. your doctor may be able to help you also. im not sure that she will ever stop sleeping with other men now that youve okayed it though. i would try to find another solution. trust me.
