It's been a few years since I was in the service. I would suggest talking to your personnel office for details. As far as I know, the military only pays for moves from duty station to duty station.

Before you even think of bringing your wife to your location, you will have to apply for either base housing or a housing allowance. Nothing is quick. By the time you get housing approval so that she can live there, it may be time to move to your next station. Sometimes it may take 3 months or more, especially if you have to wait for a housing unit to become available.

The military will not pay to move your new wife to your duty station. They will pay for her to move when you get orders to move to yor next duty station however. You need to go to your Company OPS SGT who will go to BN S-1 and set up an appointment to go to AG and get your wife added as a dependant in the DEERS system. This move is going to come out of your pocket.

Depends on where you are at?

If you are in an area where you can have family members, then you can request that she join you. Operative word being request, that don't mean it is going to get approved. You can always pay for her to join you.
