Men and women out there be honest looks over beauty or the other way round. I have to write a paper about it so be honest please.

I think looks first then brains will over rule (if there is any there). i say that only cuz what you see is what you know. If they're attractive or have a certain feature that catches your eye you will approach. Then you will see if they have brains and that will be the final hook. my man is hot, has brains and goals in life so i got so hooked and wont let go. HOPE TO HAVE HELPED, GOOD LUCK!!

Brains can also be the first point of attraction. You may be in a conversation with someone you are not initially attracted to but their clever, witty or otherwise engaging conversation can be intoxicating. You can then fall deeply in love with that person. Looks always have a pulling power but we do not all have them to start with so some people are intimidated by beautiful people. Personality is also a factor. Whether clever or gorgeous, a nasty personality is a big turn off. I am beautiful and clever with a genuine personality so men are spoilt for choice. LOL

I go for brains because when all the passion has gone out of a relationship what conversations can you have with a good looking idiot. At least you can put a bag over their head whilst the passion is still there, no that is cruel seriously I choose brains because at least they can help you when you don't have an answer and they will be your equal and not dependant on you like a child.

I (a bloke) like women who have a carring personality over everything else. You could have beautiful and also smart girls who are slagging you off behind your back.
I'm smart, however i am not a very good socialist. There are a lot more factors involed other than looks and IQ.
However because i am smart i assume that every one else is on the same level as me. This makes it very embarrasing to go out with a dumb girl.
As for looks beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

i think looks are important first, then when you get to know the person you find out their brain power if there isn`t any, then id say its a no no, so at the end of the day id say its brains over beauty. Good luck with your paper.

Both are equally important, but it also depends on the situation, e.g. if you are participating in a modeling then look is important than brain & if you are working on some research or studies then brain is important. So I feel both are equally important, if a human has only look it is of no use & if there is only brain then too he / she needs some looks.

Got to be looks I'm afraid although I wouldnt be with a lady who looked great but was incompatible with me. I mean if she was wanting more intelligent conversation than I could offer; e.g I like sitting in a nice bar chatting about recent news and a bit of tv stuff-she might want to talk about science and art of which I don't have a clue about. Then again she might want to talk about the latest scrap outside the chippy and if her roots look bad and I wouldnt really wanna go there either. Brains are relative to how clever you are against the date surely? One mans clever is another mans stupid. Think I sit in the middle somewhere (hopefully)

I think well i have lots of brains, but no beauty at all. Even the nerdieat people (nerdy is not a rude word) won't talk to me , hate me. I realy plain and dull, i would go to beauty. Life will be perfect with beauty.I will pay a thousand $ for beauty, i would not eat anything for a week for beauty! *tear drop*
