Mold can be very dangerous to work around. It can give you a fatal pneumonia and often does so wear a mask while working in there. I would not dislodge any of the mold but roll on a product called KILZ. It will kill the mold and seal it to the ceiling so it never comes down. It goes on white and is like a primer you can paint right over or use two coats of KILZ and you are good to go if you like a very white ceiling. Good Luck and God Bless

First, you need to install an exhaust fan....You have a moisture problem and you can clean it forever and it will return.....A mild bleach solution will clean it. if there is still a stain, it will have to be painted. But get rid of the moisture first......Nuf Said

You will have to treat the ceiling with a proprietary fungicide, if you use bleach it will only return so this will give you double work. You will have to apply the fungicide a few times. then dry off and your ready to paint or paper
