My computers internet doesn't work I put it on safemode right now but I hate it I have no volume, I can't do anything else now except surf the internet and chat I tried system recovery a couple times that doesnt work and I want to reformat it but I can't get to the screen where you do. I put F10 a bunch of times on startup and it just doesnt work! I lost the windows CD so was wondering is there any other way to reformat the computer?

Depending on the make. Like IBM and Compaq have
a recovery partition in the harddrive so you can reformat
it. Otherwise, find your cd or buy another. You can get XP
home edition for around $100.00. Unless you know
someone with "pirated software" who has an illegal
copy of an OP System.
Lesson: Never lose your computer OP cd's. Store them in the
case if you have to.
Ps: The poster below me has a point. I still have a Mac and
I don't think it will ever die. I have it hooked up in my bedroom.

I know I'll probably get negative ratings for this, but I don't care.
Do what I did. Get a Mac. Virus-proof, nearly hack-proof, and definitely crash-proof. Windows sucks. Just ask my roommate.

try and restart OR turn off your computer then turn it on. that happend to my computer before! it sucked! it will work!
