This is nonsense. People in Eastern Europe are as friendly as people in Western Europe....

No matter where you go you can find friendly people... You can find problems in the West and in the East. So all in all Eastern Europe is no less friendly than any other place I have travelled to.

No, it is not true at all. There are friendly and unfriendly people all over. It has nothing to do with being from the East or the West.

No, not at all. Some Eastern Europeans don't believe in superficial niceties, they are however a lot more helpful than Western Europeans in my experience, once you get to talk to them.

not true at all, you might encounter a bit of a language barrier - not as many speak english as they do in the west, but most will go out of their way to help you

no they are not i went to soviet union and people were any body else it was the war and suffering that gave them some stiffness but they are friendly..
