It could be any number of things, but often this is a symptom of ulcers. There are several types of ulcers and several treatments depending on the cause. Gastric ulcers can cause nausea because of the swelling and inflammation that occurs in the area. Sometimes eating helps because the stomache acid has something else to work on besides the stomache itself. Sometimes though eating can worsen the pain and nausea. It isn't the same for everyone.
You need to see a doc and get straightened around.

Not at all, girl. Everyone is going to start hounding you about what to eat/drink/do while you're pregnant but do not worry. You can have caffeine. Heck, I've read you can even have wine! You're not being a bad mom, and it's probably better if you don't cut it out completely anyway because you might get headaches from quitting cold turkey. I know a girl who drank Dr. Pepper her entire pregnancy and she has a healthy, beautiful girl. I've never been a Mt Dew drinker but I've heard those are as bad as energy drinks, so I try and stay away from those. I think if you just limit your caffeine to when you might need it the most (1 or 2 a day), you would be doing just fine. No worries! Good luck and congrats!

If you feel better after eating, maybe you have low blood sugar and need to eat more, and more often.
You can take this short quiz to find out.
