Take a plastic bag and return their dog's crap to them - and say "here, you might be missing this". And tell them they had better SKIP your yard on their crap route.

I'm with the ones that say to return it. Really, scoop it up, however sanity you can, and prominently place it right on their front door step ~ putting it on their lawn won't give the message clear enough. If they don't look down when they step out their front door, they'll get the message pretty quick or get pretty strange looks from visitors.

I'd leave a note as well. Tell them you're returning what their dog left on your property and you will return it to this same location every time it happens ~ make sure it's well stuck, as in hard to clean up, IF they're the hard headed type.

Just remember, don't do anything that puts the attention on you by making you look worse than them or get yourself in trouble over these inconsiderate idiots.

I would politely tell the neighbor about the inconvience giving to you... certain municlpalities have laws concering this, let along lease laws... If the poor dog is the blame the neighbor is responsible....

If it persists then contact the proper authorites.... Any judge will tell the neighbor who is reponsible for cleanup, damage and the problem should be solved.....

No matter how fun that would be it is not a good idea but you sure can pick up their dog's doodoo and dump it back on their lawn. Yours would have your DNA but really, I don't think they'd ever find a jury to convict you. Good Luck and God Bless

I think it is better to tolerate a neighbors rudeness then to deal with their revenge.

Too many get caught up in wanting to get "even". (read the other answers and uwill see.

Buy a Rainbird (about 40 bucks). It automatically shoots water upon intrusion.

You could, but would you want to? Besides, I think it is against the law. Why not take your rear to the neighbor and tell them you are unhappy about their dog? That might actually SOLVE the problem.

I can understand why you would want to but it may not be worth the trouble. I would throw it back in their yard or maybe put in on their front step. Are they reasonable to talk to? Those of us who don't own dogs should not have to put up with dog crap in our yards!

Well you can but it's probably illegal and I wouldn't rule out police-sanctioned violence by your neighbor against you. Best of luck in finding a more constructive solution to your dilemma.

Just return their property to them.
Like, "here, this is yours".
"Your dog dropped this this morning"......

The laws about humans doing that are different (fine, jail), though in some states a video of their dog could earn them an expensive fine.
