For some, yes, and for others no. It is not true for my school, because I have a lot of friends who are cheerleaders and they are really smart and nice. But at my old school, the entire squad fit that stereotype. Just depends where you are and what your stereotype is I guess.

Thankfully our high school cheerleaders were terrible, they tended to be the rejects rather than the popular girls. To be honest, we didn't even have a "popular" group, just a few girls who thought they were but got kicked out of every party.
But according to my friend who moved to New England from Texas, in many places (like her old town) the cheerleader stereotype is very, very real.

I guess there were a few girls that would have fit the typical stereotype, but we also had some really nice and smart girls. I know a couple of them were top of their class.

Its mostly true in my school. Some of the girls are dumb as nails and mean. There are actually some decent people on the squad but not many

Most of them are preps, some are ghetto, and there was this one emo chick except she got kicked out because she got caught for drinking Vodka. Lolz.
