I guess you're just too young to realise that this line comes from a song from the 1950's. The wife asks her husband, "How do you like your eggs in the morning?" and he replies, "I like mine with a kiss". Ah, those days of innocence, long gone.......

But you're right, as a chat-up line it's lousy. LOL.

they use it because they are
a) desperate
b) quoting a stupid old song that was recentlly used on a UK tv advert
c) unoriginal
d) obseesed with eggs
