Out of all the couples that I know, there is only one couple that tell me they are 100% content with their relationship and their secret is laughter, they laugh all the time and are always smiling. They were made for each other. Theya re the lucky ones. Most of us are content to be in a relationship that is caring with a bit of give and take and the odd argument. The grass isnt greener on the other side. We watch too many soppy films and think thats how life should be, well its not.

Not really a true definition of a happy relationship, it is what you percieve being happy. It can consist of constant communication, being able to joke around with that person, trusting him and him trusting you (like him going out with the guys for the weekend, but come home a day early just to be with you). It is a give and take situation, when it comes to relationships period. One question to ask yourself, when you think of him do you immediately get a silly grin on your face? And does he call and/or text you all day. I would like to say, that's a happy relationship..then again that is my defiention.

Openness, honesty, conversation, listening, laughing, not taking life too seriously, respect for yourself as well as for the other, time together, time apart, exploring each other.....Sharing the good times and the bad, healthy arguments, support, understanding, just keeping things alive. Cant think of anything else at the mo... but will come back to you at some point, lol!!

Respecting each other. Always tries to support the other. Just happy being together. If you were happy, you wouldn't be asking this question.

For me it's being able to trust your guy.
Knowing what their likes are and avoiding their dislikes.
Giving and taking a bit now and then.
Never being complacent.
Expect little and you'll never be disappointed.
Give him a little thrill now and then just to keep the spark alive !! xx.
