I just have his 'Murder Ballads', but I love 'The Curse of Millhaven', what a great song- 'I come from a town called Millhaven/ it's small and it's mean and it's cold/ but if you come around/ just as the sun goes down/ you can watch the whole place turn into gold'.
Oh, and of course 'Red Right Hand' is fantastic... "They're whisperin' his name through this disappearing land/ but hidden his coat is a red right hand"...
The only other I've heard doesn't even have him on it, he wrote it for Ute Lemper's Punishing Kiss album... it's called 'Under Here', I think, written from the perspective of a woman being drowned by her lover... it's okay I suppose...
Okay, my favourite Nick Cave track would probably be 'Red Right Hand' then, but off the 'Murder Ballads' album, it's 'The Curse...'. Yeah, I keep looking for the album 'Red Right Hand' is off, I'd prolly pay about mid-price for it...
