It is OK,I paint my dog,s nails all the time,as soon as you have put the nail varnish on put the dogs paw,s under the cold tap to set the varnish..

They make nail polish for dogs... You can find it at the pet store probably by the dog clothes...
I wouldn't recommend using your own nail polish, there might be some chemicals in there that aren't safe for Sparky!

Believe it or not we have a cousin in the states that use to take her poodle to be
groomed. The groomers loved her, painted her toenails and put a pink ribbon in
her hair--oops!! fur. Well, she would lay there and hide her feet because she
was so embarrassed--the dog not our cousin. The nail polish never hurt her but
it's worth making sure it's dry. : }

There is a nail polish that you can get for you dog which is non-toxic. You can usually find it in the more upscale petstores.

They have special polish for dogs only. I would NOT use regular nail polish, it will make him sick should he chew it off.

Not a good idea...call vet and ask them...can't be healthy for the dog.

It is quiet safe when a dog is groomed they always paint the toenails..
