I know which one you're talking about. I would love to see one of teachers beating the kids mercilessly with rulers. Or in my class my weapon of choice would be the bamboo staff.

As a first year of being a substitute teacher, it completely angers myself personally to know such ads are being shown on TV. Knowing that all kids will be kids. It is truly ridiculous to know that many of the younger students can "feel" like that the world is revolving around themselves. I've had my fair share of disrespect, reticule, and stupidity to take any more punishment of that kind.

It's really an immature act. People responsible for this don't realize what message they are conveying. I suggest we better stop using the products advertised in such commercials. And not go for them until they come out with ads that donot demoralize our culture, or have any ill effect on society.

If such an add is shown on T.V, I would tell them what I would do to fix them if children try emulating the children in the add. After that they are free to go to the ad-maker himself/herself and ask him/her what to do next, if they can!

I think most TV show and commercials undermine the authority of the home by making older people look like fools.

It contributes to the sad state of our world, and makes me feel angry, disappointed, sad, and scared about the future for the kids.

I think it is teaching children to be very disrespectful to people of all ages. I detest all those commercials.
