There are two kinds of physics - theoretic and experimental.
The experimental is considered to be "lab science" and the another one is concidered to be a deep brain science :)

I always joke and say; "I took physical science and it had nothing to do with sex, so I dropped it"! :-D
But, it does have a Lab Fee at my college.
