I am traditional Hindu and have my own way of celebration.Puffing
out candles [ switching off any light ] on a happy day when you seek the blessings of the elders and the God does not go well with me;instead, I lite a lamp, cut the cake and distribute to my family
members and friends. Then I go to the temple and from there I go to the nearest blood-bank to donate blood. From there, to a movie
and a restaurant. Before going to bed, I thank the God for what I
am. Usually I vow on that day to leave a bad habit and try my best
to follow it. And for the next birthday also I intend to be that way.

I usually celebrate my birthday by hanging out with my family at home during the day and then going out with my friends at night. My next birthday I really wanna go on a vacation...somewhere warm like Florida or Hawaii and celebrate there.

last time i really had fun on my birthday was 6 years ago.i use to make big parties and invite all my friends.till my 20th birthday, that i celebrated with my husband(of course we weren't married then)we celebrated it alone, and it was fantastic.after that nothing.every year there should be something that either turns the day to a really bad day or at least with nothing special,no party,no cake,no people around me,,,,nothing at all.next birthday,,,,,next birthady,,,,,,,i dunno.i expect whom i prepare to make their birthday a great day to answer this question after all these years.
