nextel phones no plan?

I have a nextel phone. i am with nextel. I would like to purchase another one. It is not time to renew my contract. Therefore, They want to charge me an outrageous price for a phone. (unless I wait six months to buy when contract renewal is due.) My question: Can I just buy a nextel phone online or somewhere with no service contract without paying a rediculous price. All the good prices come with contracts.

I use Ebay for that. You can also sell your old phone there. If the new phone uses the same SIM card you can just swap it. If not you can call Nextel and they will activate the new phone right then and there for you.

If you can't swap the SIM and have to go in for your phone book transferred they usually charge like $15 for that.

But if you are like me and use your calendar on your phone. Not only will it not transfer with the SIM card, but when you pull the SIM you will lose it. If you need what's in there write it down before you pull your SIM.

Yes you can I have done it many times. Online auction sites are great for this. Just make sure the phone you get uses the same sim card as the old phone. If it does not you will need a compatable sim card for the new phone and will need to go to a nextel office so they can transfer your info onto the new one.

I even have discovered solid motor telephones in pawn shops in my section you may try them and you may bypass to a nextel shop and ask them in the event that they have any commerce ins on the industry i've got been given a i530 back interior the day whilst they have been suited of the line i ask the clerk and somebody had traded a i530 for another style yet they don't have the telephones interior the front you may ask.and then there is ebay i've got been given my i870 of eBay .
