Has anyone ever tried any mineral makeup? What brand was it and were you satisfied? I want to try some but my cheeks are always really red and I am not sure if it will cover well enough. What about blimishes does it cover them well? Thanks!!

I tried Physicians Formula Mineral Wear loose powder - It wasn't what I thought it would be. It didn't cover like a foundation, it was like a regular translucent powder. I was hoping it would be like the bare minerals. Everyone I've talked to that has tried Bare Minerals loved it, it actually did have all the coverage the commercials claims it has. There are day spas that have it if you want to try it, you just might have to pay for a make up application. I don't know how that works. You could call around and ask. If you want it, you can find it cheaper on ebay, the seller starexchange sells it at a good price. GL!

I've tried BellaPierre, and I LOVE it! the colors are more intense (and the sales lady is now my friends role model, she sold us the product without us realizing we were purchasing it ha ha) but it's amazing, it can be used as eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush, lip gloss, body glitter, mascara, nail polish and I've heard it can even be used to put streaks in your hair! If there's a place near you that sells mineral make-up I'd go and try it out, people's opinions vary greatly from brand to brand. (if you're in Toronto I'd try going to Vaughn Mills mall, there's a stall for BellaPierre there. Oh and if you want to cover the redness you might want to use something that has a cool color as it's base to neutralize it.)

A really good one is called Bare Minerals. I haven't tried it, but my bestfriend had it and she said it worked GREAT. It covers everything and lasts a while.

Hope I helped.

I have the one from nutregena and I hate it. it covers nothing and its hard for it to come out. You have to shake it real hard but then you shake it hard and it just falls off the brush. So if you are going to go the mineral route i wont use this one.
