If I ever read the story, I don't remember it, so I did not understand the "greatest hound coons" and thought perhaps you mean coon hounds. Also, is the dog's name, Old Dann, spelled with two "n's"? I didn't know, so I left it as you had written it. Anyway, here is my edited version:
