Your bunny needs to be spayed because she's maturing. Spaying is the best thing that you can do for your house rabbit biologically, emotionally, and socially. They live much longer, happier and healthier lives.

What you read was true. She is wanting a mate, and she thinks that she will get babies, so she's being protective of her nest. She may even pull out her fur so she can make a nest and a home. This is what happens if you don't get your bunny spayed. This happened to my little bun. She'll get over it. But for now don't try to pick her up or put your hands in her cage. She's being protective and she may growl, hiss, scratch, and even attack. Ask your local vet, to give you some advice. Once she cools down, take her to the vet to be neutered. Don't bother her, open her cage, she'll come out when she feels like it. I hope I helped.
Cheers! âº

It very well could be that she wants to breed. Rabbits usually have their babies in the spring and that could affect her attitude. It will probably pass until next breeding season. I would not get another bunny for her to breed with as there are many unwanted animals out there. I would leave it to the professionals.

did anyone scare her or was there a really loud noise she might have heard (a car backfiring of sumthing) a lot of times things like that set rabbits off for weeks but she'll return to normal if that is the case

i'm not sure why but my rabbit becomes skittish if she doesn't get much attention for a few days. try starting to pet her on the top of her head lightly until she relaxes. if that doesn't work after a while, i'd consider consulting a vet. she may be in pain/sick.

Rabbits grunt, and make weird noises not because they want to have babbies, but because they are either scared, nervous, or possibly just mad. If your rabbit is not spayed, and is doing this , then I suggest that you get her spayed. If she is already spayed, it is probably just left-over hormones.

Maybe. she might need another bunny to play with, or to breed. She is probably lonely.
