maybe you could do something about how kids now a days can't live without computers, tvs, etc. and how barely anyone our age reads -that is if that kinda stuff interests you-
you seem to like animals, so you could do something about animal testing like the pros and cons
or, you could write about famous women in history and of the present that have done amazing things
what are some of your hobbies? maybe you could do something about one of them
if any of your grandparents are still alive you could do a bibliography about one of them - i did that not too long ago, and trust me, grandparents can have some really interesting stories-
or you could do something like what could have happened if some guy(or girl) didn't invent or do something, like what if gutenberg never invented the printing press? computers wouldn't exist, and we'd probably still be living like they did a long time ago, coz knowledge couldn't be spread (i got an A+ in the paper i did about that and i'm in 8th grade too)
if i were in your place, the only reason i'd be stuck would be because i wouldn't be able to chose from all the ideas i got
good luck!

what about a paper on superstitions? what they mean, why they exist etc, where they originated?
