The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (a light novel that got turned into an anime. will be released in the US on May 9, 2007. has romance, but is more of a comedy).

Those are only a few. Have fun! I would reccomend Kanon 2006, Maison Ikkoku, and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya when it gets released here in America.

Inuyasha is funny most of the time, when they aren't fighting, and there are multiple romances going on in it and it's just awesome all around!
