I don't understand the point of asking these questions. There is always someone somewhere who hates (insert country here) because they did something to someone. As for the Dixie Chicks and all that, it is amazing the way American sentiment just sways like John Kerry. The Dixie Chicks were scapegoats when the war in Iraq began, but Cindy Sheehan is a national hero for harassing (protesting, depending on your views) the President. It doesn't make sense. And the anti-America stuff began a long time ago. Beirut Marines? Iran Hostages? Anyone remember those? They happened decades ago. The anti-American stuff is not new.

Chavez is anti-Bush more than anti-American. If you mean has there been an increase anti-America since Bush and Cheney came to power then the answer is definitely yes.
The Muslim world has never trusted the US and the current arrogant regime in Washington has done nothing but feed the distrust. Bush has started 2 wars against (primarily) Muslim nations and has threaten a third (Iran.)
If you were Muslim would you trust that behavior?
Just so you know, I am a proud American. I just HATE the policies of Bush(league.) It is Vietnam in a sand box. Of course Bush would never understand that since he was in the Texas NG and drunk during Vietnam.

You are right on the account that the Anti American sentiment is more aimed towards Bush's Administration. How ever I do find it that more people around the world are getting to be true anti American over the last 2 years..especially after we reelected President Bush... But as for lying for starting wars over Oil...well YOU GOT THAT RIGHT!!

There are a lot of people who call anyone who criticizes our government, anti-government. Since we live in American and we have free speech, it is not only our right but it's our duty to be critical when there are wrongs that need to be righted. I wish the conservatives would be open-minded and knowledgeable enough to know that. Most liberals I know are wonderful Americans who exercise their right to free speech. I just wish it could happen in an atmosphere of acceptance. Exercising our right does not make us anti-American, just honest.
As far as other countries perception of the U.S., I noticed that your question states "over the past few years". Hmmmm, who's been in office since then?

u . s . a . of america is a youthful u . s . a ., and thinks it could remedy all the themes of the international. it ought to verify plenty from China. China... if there is one element i will say approximately China, is that it knows whilst to no longer get in touch. u . s . a . of america gets its hands burned some extra cases, i'm optimistic. we are like a youthful newborn. we are slowly maturing. the difficulty with u . s . a . of america is that we've not had a significant conflict like international conflict I or international conflict 2 on our soil in a very long term. we don't be attentive to what the horrors of conflict are. we are youthful and naive. And so we are reckless and stupid. possibly i'm being slightly harsh; yet i've got lived the two right here in u . s . a . of america and out of the country, so i will see my own u . s . a . from a diverse attitude. My human beings are by probability remoted. They encompass themselves with their very own human beings. they think of something of the international is like them.

GW's bullying foreign polices and circumvention of the Geneva Conventions has put America's reputation in the world community in the toilet. GW squandered world sympathy and solidarity after 9/11 with his pre emptive attack on a weak (but oil rich) Iraq, his failure to censor Israel during their reprehensible attack on Lebanon (using illegal cluster bombs on civilian targets) and the legalization of torture, secret renditions and leaving terrorist SUSPECTS in legal limbo has made America a pariah in much of the world.

I'm not a big fan of the media, particularly the leftist media. But I tend to believe the media over you, when it comes to Chavez. And Chavez's anti-American sentiment is hardly new, btw. And neither is the anti-American sentiment in other places. It is not new, and it is not just about Bush. Bush is just their latest excuse.

Ah,those people don't like any US presidents. When Clinton was in Brazil, they threw manure at his limo and protested. And here I thought he was everyone's buddy.
