I'm running windows xp and I have my preferences set to automatically adjust, but it didn't. I know that I can go in and manually change it, but did anyone else have this problem today? Is this because they moved the date 3 weeks earlier?

You should have downloaded this:
http://support.microsoft.com/gp/cp_dst
It was the patch issued by Microsoft.com , I suggest you still download it as it has configuration for the end of DST which USA end around one week early.

Yes, it's because they moved the date. The computers as well as many other hardward devices were set to change on a certain date, because they moved that date many things are off, dvd players, vcrs, thins like that.

is your windows XP set to automatically download updates? if it's not, go to control panel ---> Automatic Updates, and change it. You may be behind in some updates.
