It would cost some money. With one sole insert it feels good but a taller support in the heel area would feel mighty fine.

You can get inserts for just the heel, so the "stacking" doesn't crowd the rest of your foot. For maximum comfort, you may need more lift in one heel than in the other. A chiropractor can assess such a need and also sell you whatever lifts are needed. Or just look around at your neighborhood pharmacy or even on eBay and use trial and error to find the combination that works best for you.

The best non-prescription foot orthotics are sold at medical supply houses. In general, my doctor says to stay away from Dr, Scholls in favor of Spenco. That's if your first insert is an arch support, which it probably should be. Any brand works for just adding lift--you might even be able to improvise something. I once cut up an old washcloth and folded it into a lift.

Just make sure something in the "stack" has some give to it. You can develop painful heel problems from a really hard heel lift. I can't use the ones from the chiropractor unless I stick them under a cushioned insole; then they are fine.

You might consider going to a Podiatrist & having special orthotics made. They'll last longer, too.
