You didn't say whether it was manual or automatic,I usually look at the owners manual as some vehicles have different requirements.All of my vehicles generally get the automatics serviced around 30-40 thousand miles with a new filter also,it gives me peace of mind.

With the Chrysler auto trannies it is never often enough. Follow the severe duty on your schedule, maybe a little more often. I wouldn't go beyond 25,000-30,000 miles.
