Gentlemen should always push the ladies first. Remember, It is playground etiquette to allows others a shot if a queue forms behind you.
In some circumstances there may be opportunities for you both to have go on your own!!!

After 23 years of marriage you are probably looking at the end of your marriage and why would you push someone to swing your do realize that some people are not cut out for a swingers life right?
Also you probably have children after 23 years what will you tell the children? You need to think this over before you even suggest it - if you were my husband and you came home one day and informed me you were taking me swinging I don't think the reaction would be quite what you were looking for.
On the flip side you must really be confident about your male prowess to push your wife onto other men.

Push her on the swings, but dont push her to go swinging - she might trade you in for a better model!

I don't think you or she should push towards swinging at all.
From my praxis, talking with persons, the outcome from swinging on a % level, is extremely poor.
What I'm saying: In most cases, the MARRIAGE WILL NOT SURVIVE, afterwards. The "green monster" will come between, so ask yourself, will it be worth it, to loose each other????
Why not, find other new and exiting ways to discover each other first.

let her push, she might fall off if she rides, it being her first time and all. after three or four sessions she should be ready to swing on her own. good luck.

After 23 years your just deciding this now WHY? dont you love your wife then,should never ever share your partner with someone else,there your life and should stay with them for life for better for worse etc
forget the idea and love her for who she is
if my hubby of 23 years too decided this for me, he'd be straight out the door for good
